Sushi Chef & Octo Samurai Characters by Huck Gee

One of our favourite figure designers, Huck Gee, created the following pieces for a private collector. Combining food and martial arts, the figures depict a sushi chef and a octopus Samurai. The tentacle basket implies a victory for the sushi chef. We wish we could commission excellent pieces like this!

God of Wealth Ceramic Figure in 3M Advertising

Most chinese families will undoubtedly have one of these God of Wealth figures at home, which 3M have used to help promote their cushion wrap product. The figure is show falling but landing safe. Have you grown up with one of these in your household and would you be fond enough (or superstitious enough) of it to keep it safe in the hands of 3M?

Donnie Yen as the Monkey King

Fans of fast-punching Donnie Yen might be interested in a future film he’ll be starring in. None other than as the much-used role of the Monkey King. Titled as “Monkey King: Wreaking Havoc In Heavenly Palace“, the production is budget at US $45 million and planned to be filmed in 3D IMAX with Weta Digital on board to handle special effects. Keep an eye out for this during February 2012
