Japanese Illustration from an Australian
Andrea Innocent has a nice range of illustration work in her portfolio. Her current work is an ongoing exploration, in a contemporary context, of aspects of Japanese popular culture from an Australian perspective.

“A self-confessed nipponophile there is no denying the influence her exposure to Japanese culture has had on her work. Themes range from investigations into the cult of otaku to traditional Japanese folk tales and Japanese textiles and their meanings. Her inspirations can come from various sources such as newspaper articles, Japanese television, and advertising, books, music, toys, animals, the Internet, or just from watching life unfold around her, both imagined and real.”
See more on her website Otoshimono.org or see more examples of her work below..

New Tokyo Pixel Poster by Eboy
Pixel masters Eboy have just released a new version of their pixel landscape posters, this one of Tokyo.

As you can see, its pretty manic, as are most of their city pixel landscapes, with lots of detail depicting shoppers, advertising, aliens and naked women straddling rockets (!).
The poster itself is quite big measuring in at 46.8 inches by 33.1 inches and its for sale at 16 euro outside the EU or 19 euro inside (including tax).
See a large preview of the Tokyo poster here

Cute Chinese Zodiac illustrations by Joy Ang
Check out this charming set of Chinese Zodiac illustrations by Canada-based Joy Ang.
I’ll apologise in advance, as I had to re-arrange these dudes from a two by six grid layout to the one below, so that I didn’t have to shrink them too much.
You can buy a print of these characters in the original landscape format - see link below.

From Joy’s website:
“My passion has been art for as long as I can remember. With my art I strive for one main goal, and that is to stir the emotions from those who view it. I admire subtlety and believe that as much can be said through it as exaggeration.”
Her clients include Marvel, Capcom, Nokia, BioWare and Udon Comics.

Pin-Up, Anime, Graffiti Inspired Illustration by Carlos Ramon
Carlos Ramon, an accomplished Illustrator based in Kansas City, Missouri, has a superb illustration style, which he states is inspired by “Pin up, anime, graffiti, art novau, fashion, “low brow” art, and fine art“.
I particularly like these eastern-flavoured examples from his gallery, with this “ninja printer” and “samurai girls” below.
