Creepy East-Asian Girl Eyes Up Your Cursor
I’ve seen this idea of making someone’s eyes follow your cursor around the screen, but this one has been done quite well, adding subtle facial expressions (very Japanese I thought) and head movement. Check it out, its pretty amazing!
You can see how something like this is used on the Motion Portrait website to attempt a more human welcome for visitors (and their cursors).

Fish Tank Car in Bangkok
How’s this for an eye catcher - wander past this car at the Siam Ocean World in the Siam Paragon shopping center in Bangkok and all you’ll see inside are fish.
Yep - this car has been modified to be watertight, where apparently, the car doors are also welded shut - that’ll will stop the smart asses!

Robot Goat Eats Rubbish
At Tokyo’s Edogawa Kyotei boat race course, gamblers used to throw their losing tickets on the floor.
However, a genius invented this robot goat, which has been programmed to “eat” the tickets you place in its mouth.
Feeding the thing is more satisfying than littering, so it therefore keeps the floors cleaner.
Its a great idea which builds on the image of goats eating anything, and I’d love to think this would work on the streets (of London). Sadly, these things would be more likely to be “adapted” by Banksy wannabees (grafitti-branded) at best, or simply broken or stolen.

Awesome DIY Samurai Armour
This must surely take home-made halloween costumes to the next level - this is a pretty awesome, DIY samurai costume made by Flickr user Kudzutech.
His samurai costume is made completely from Rubbermaid 32 gallon garbage cans and rubber stoppers. More photos below and on his Flickr page.
