Tai Chi Chair
Designer Yuan Yuan created a Tai Chi chair that allows users to carry out a multitude of Tai Chi exercises. See below.

Looks like this is a great piece of furniture to generally stretch and do a few light exercises too.

Aquascaping – Worlds Best Aquariums
In Hong Kong, we came across a Kowloon street packed with aquarium shops, which just seemed to contain more impressive displays than similar shops in the UK. Well, it seems aquascaping as its known, (gardening under water!) is hugely popular in the East.
Check out aquascapes and find out more about the culture on TwistedSifter

We’re planning this one for Goldie the goldfish’s next home upgrade.

G.O.D. Chinese Chess Piece Pouf
I want a few of these Chinese chess piece poufs from Hong Kong store Goods of Desire (G.O.D.)!

The pieces are quite a simple design and look really nice when there are a few of them piled together. You can choose different character designs on them (there are also red and green ones).

OneInchPunch is currently traveling around Hong Kong and East-Asia.
Follow our experiences in the blog MangoVine.net.

Paul Smith Ping Pong Table by Singaporean Hunn Wai
Hunn Wai is an up and coming designer from the island of Singapore. He tries to combine and fuse materials and forms in his designs.

The large size of a table tennis table is a huge deterrent for those looking to acquire one, so Hunn combined work and play functions to create a table versatile enough to be used as a ping pong table (albeit, slightly smaller than official size) and a workstation.

Slight decorative touches result from Hunn sourcing his materials from a flea market. The Paul Smith bit in the name is explained by the fact that the inspiration behind the table actually lies behind designer’s prized pair of Paul Smith Bunny sneakers.

Gold Chinese “Kung Fu” Stool
This stool pictured below is made from 50kg of gold and is currently on display in Kunming, China. Its valued at $1.3 million apparently.
Now I can’t see Jackie Chan flinging this around like it was wood (what film was it – Dragon Lord?). But then again, maybe he could – and he can certainly afford it now..

A new eating utensil combining chopsticks and a fork : The Chork
Laura Rittenhouse has created an inspiring eating utensil that combines the functions of a pair of chopsticks and a fork. It measures 9″ by 3/4″ and looks very slick. I can only assume that the material is flexible enough to bend and grip food at the ends.
Each pair is handmade by herself and can be chosen from Catalox, Chechen or Granadillo wood species. Order a pair for $17 plus shipping.
