New Clothing Line at Akufuncture
Samuel Wang recently started new clothing line called Akufuncture.

The goal is to create more awareness for Chinese culture through fashionable urban apparels. Samuel and his team at Akufuncture felt that as much as the US has been enamored by the mystery of the Far East, there is still very little knowledge about Chinese culture, especially for the younger generations.
With their line of t-shirts, they hope to spark an interest in just knowing bits and pieces about who we are and where we came from.

About Akufuncture
A fusion of Chinese culture and urban fashion is at the core of Akufuncture. For many years, Japanese fashion has taken over much of the urban scene with its creative ideas and clever artwork. It has utilized many Japanese cultural icons, figures, styles, and legends to great effects.
The wildly popular Japanese fusion suggests that there has always been a thirst for the “oriental mystique” in the west. With 5000 years of history, China is rich with cultural mystique, ancient heroes, and romantic mythology. However, the West has yet to experience the irresistible essence of true Chinese culture. Our goal is to get you in touch with the “essence of the East” through a new trend of “fusion fashion”.

Samurai Underpants
No sword jokes please! However, these samurai themed underpants may keep someone happy, either the wearer or their partner.. Each piece is made to resemble the armour of famous Japanese samurai, such as Tokugawa shogunate founder Tokugawa Ieyasu or military hero Oda Nobunaga.

Creative Chinese Illustration Work by Mazakii
Jing Zhang aka Mazakii, is a 23 year old illustrator, graphic designer, translator, and fashion designer from China who is now based in London.
She has an excellent range of work on her site, of which the couple below caught my eye.

She one day hopes to replace Karl Lagerfeld as chief designer of Coco Chanel!

Amazing Video Game Costumes
Here are some amazingly detailed video game costumes I’ve seen on the net so far! Some cosplay works are ok, but some of these below are really elaborate.
The non-East-Asian cosplayers also look good for once and they’ve chosen characters that work with the way they look already.

Fancy seeing some more? Check out Slobs of Gaming…
