The Banyan Tree resort in Phuket - pure indulgence!
Are you rich and famous? You probably have the Banyan Tree resort in your phone book - sorry, your assistant probably has in theirs. If like me, you’re not, then you can only read and fantasize about places like this.
Phuket’s exclusive Banyan Tree resort looks and sounds like pure heaven. The whole experience and attention to detail - high-class indulgence. I can’t pretend to have been there to review it, so read the review from the Coolhunter reporter who has!

Thai boxer Tony Jaa tricks and skills video
Check out this video on YouTube of Tony Jaa of Ong-Bak and Tom Yum Goong fame. The talented Thai boxer, inspired by Jackie Chan’s moves, has gained a cult following since exploding onto the scene in 2003 with the film Ong-Bak, demonstrating his highly entertaining, bone-crunching moves!
Some screenshots below:
Ong-Bak 2 is due to be released in 2007 and I only hope that he delivers something awesome but maybe a little different. As mad as they are, I’m not sure how many more crunching legs, arms and shoulders will make for compulsive viewing.

In Phuket : Cool themed hotel rooms for kids
TheCoolhunter.net have posted a note on the recently opened Ramada Resort Karon Beach in Phuket, who have created fun and magical themed rooms just for kids.
There are three different adventure themes such as the Outer Space Room, the Underwater Room and the Castle Room. These kids rooms also feature play-stations, DVD players and 32” TVs. The hotel also has a “Magic Castle” restaurant, which is decorated like a film-set.
