Trains Shares Market Space in Bangkok
Just when I thought London was crowded, check out this video which shows how a commuter train shares space with a marketplace in Bangkok. Watch until the end, where the stalls go back over the tracks!

Cook a Thai Dish in under 10 minutes
The AllThingsNice blog has the recipe and instructions for a really quick Thai dish, Gai Pad Grapow (or Chicken Basil).
Gai Pad Grapow is one of the easiest and tastiest Thai dishes you can make. The key ingredient in this dish is the Thai Basil, which has a stonger smell than most Sweet Basils. Its leaves are small and it has a purple stem with a faint licorice aroma.

“Dynamite Warrior” Trailer : A Wacky New Thai Action Comedy from the Producers of “ONG BAK”
“Dynamite Warrior” is a wacky new Thai action-comedy from the producers of “Ong Bak“, set in an America’s Old West style Siam in 1910. The action is a little different mixing a bit of Thai boxing with fire-cracking aerial stunts…

World’s Largest Carp Caught by Thai Fisherman
WeirdAsiaNews reports that a Thai fisherman caught what is believed to be the largest carp in history. It weights about 260 lbs, while the old record was only 88 lbs.

When I first saw the photo above, something didn’t quite seem right. I didn’t think it was a Photoshop job. But the fish did look a little “light” and maybe artificial. What do you think?
However, I dug around on the web and amongst the scepticism on various other blogs, found a couple of news sites that seemed to legitimise the catch.

Fantastic Mango with Sticky Rice Thai recipe
Mangos are one of my favourite fruits and Real Thai Recipes have a fantastic recipe to make Khao Nieow Ma-muan, a popular mango-based dessert. The recipe pairs the sweet fruit with sweet and salty coconut-milk sticky rice. Make some whilst its still warm out there!

The Banyan Tree resort in Phuket - pure indulgence!
Are you rich and famous? You probably have the Banyan Tree resort in your phone book - sorry, your assistant probably has in theirs. If like me, you’re not, then you can only read and fantasize about places like this.
Phuket’s exclusive Banyan Tree resort looks and sounds like pure heaven. The whole experience and attention to detail - high-class indulgence. I can’t pretend to have been there to review it, so read the review from the Coolhunter reporter who has!
