Japanese Pianist Hiromi Uehara

Though we don’t listen to music as much as we should, Japanese pianist Hiromi Uehara made us think otherwise, particularly if the musicians are having as much fun as she seems to be having.

Hiromi Uehara is a composer and pianist born in Hamamatsu, Japan. She is known for her virtuosic technique, energetic live performances and blend of musical genres in her compositions.

I especially like how she uses music and the act of composing something everyday as a way to keep a diary and also as a kind of travel journal.
