Dog Pedometer

I can’t believe you can actually buy a pedometer for your dog! It’s meant to help owners monitor their dog’s well being by tracking how much exercise they get (via a step count and “frolicking index“)!

With the Doggy Pedometer owners can create a profile with their dog’s type (dog’s breed, weight, age, and gender) and feeding schedule and then attach the lightweight pedometer to its collar. They can then keep daily track of whether he’s gotten the exercise he needs.

I’m not convinced, but then I don’t have a dog. Perhaps this demonstration video will encourage buyers?
