Japanese Vending Machines Paid by Finger

Japanese vending machines are breaking new ground by being paid by finger! Purchasers can swipe their finger to pay for goods digitally by being charged with a pre-selected credit card of their choice.

Hitachi have installed the machine for their employees but as yet aren’t sure whether they’ll be mass produced. If they are, cue lots of samurai-style finger chopping and subsequent unauthorised purchasing!
