Buddha Statue Made Out of Dead Insects



Here’s a statue to get you staring.. A Buddha statue that from a distance looks normal, possibly made out of dull jewels or stones. However, on closer inspection, you can see that its been made out of dead insets – all 20,000 of them!

The creator of the piece, Inamura Yoneiji, 89, took six years to catch all the insects and make the sculpture.
