Sea Lion Calligraphy Master



Not to downplay this dude’s talents, but if a sea lion can do it, why can’t I? Ten-year-old sea lion Jonao shows us how its done using a brush to write calligraphy.

Here, the word rat in Chinese characters was written in preparation for the new year in 2008 at Hakkeijima Sea Paradise in Yokohama. It seems to be an annual fixture as Tokyo Mango shows the kanji for “ox” being written. Amazing.
