World’s Most Expensive Christmas Trees
Like the timing of this post, the world’s most expensive Christmas trees may not have come at the right time.

Nevertheless, the Ginza Tanaka jewelry shop in Japan showcased a gold and diamond Christmas tree worth £1 million. Weighing in at 21 kilograms, the tree is adorned with more than 240 jewels, including diamond baubles and strings of pearls.
At $1.8 million is the diamond-covered Christmas tree adorned with 400 diamonds, seen at the Takashimaya department store chain in China last year. The tree was actually a small tower of preserved roses with a teddy bear. It stood 40 centimeters high and was festooned with around 100 carats of diamonds from Southern Africa and Australia.

Bring on the new year.
