China’s Lush, Green Sculptures for the Olympics

As part of the preparation for the 2008 Summer Olympics, China created these lush sculptures portraying a greener version of China than we’re used to seeing.

These seem quite superficial in trying to distract from all the building work and vast environmental changes that have taken place in China, but they’re still rather nice.

I suppose if someone said to “show more green”, then taken literally, these attempts are pretty obvious!
