Super Expensive, Finely Crafted Fabergé Buddha

This is the finely crafted Fabergé Buddha – a gem-set Bowenite Magot by Fabergé, which was previously owned by billionaire shipping tycoon Aristotle Onassis.

Known as the “Onassis Buddha“, it stands over eleven centimetres high and has expressed hands, head and ruby tongue and was first bought by Onassis in the early 1960’s.

It sold in June for more than £1.2 million.
