The first official Japanese Star Wars convention kicked off last week. StarWars.com’s Bonnie Burton covered the event with photos now viewable on her Flickr page.

Celebrating the Japanese 30th anniversary of Star Wars, Lucasfilm presents the first-ever Star Wars Celebration event in the Asia-Pacific region from July 19-21, 2008 at the Makuhari-Messe Convention Center near Tokyo.
