Manga Chat Plates by Ikuko Nakazawa

These Chat Plates by Ikuko Nakazawa were designed to resemble conversation bubbles from manga, or Japanese comics.

Chat-Plates

The set of three plates features one large plate and two smaller plates and is perfect for serving small meals and snacks. A obvious conversation piece (!) they might also remind diners to make meals more of a social event - important for family ties.

The plates are made of porcelain, are dishwasher and microwave safe and sell for $45 from MoMA.
