Japanese Manga Film “Death Note” at London’s ICA
Popular Japanese Manga Film “Death Note“, directed by Shusuke Kaneko will be shown at the ICA from this Friday for a few dates.
This spin-off from a best-selling Manga series is one of the biggest popular hits to emerge from Japan since the original Ring.

A must for fantasy fans and Goth-inclined teens, this chiller-thriller breathlessly follows the mayhem that ensues when law student Light is given a special book that can cause a person’s death just by writing their name in it.
Urged on by the Angel of Death (a memorable CGI creation), Light becomes a serial-killing vigilante and attracts the attention of a mysterious detective mastermind known only as L.
The 6.15 screening on Friday 25 will be introduced by Paul Gravett, director of the ICA’s Comica Festival.
Death Note performance days are: 25 - 30 Apr, 2 - 8, 10 - 15, 17 - 18 May 2008.
