Low-Fi Chinese Magician
This 1920’s Chinese automaton performs a lovely little clockwork-style magic trick : making other clockwork dolls disappear and appear.
I love these kinds of things which combine the low-fi feel with the “mystery” of an exotic culture. Fu Manchu springs to mind.
