Hong Kong Picture Moment : Nostalgic Letter Writer



Here’s a lovely photo by Bill Hocker featuring a Letter Writer from Wan Chai, Hong Kong in 1974.

Chinese people will undoubtedly recognise the calendar on the wall (well, we still use one like that, and go the extra effort to get one every year). But I love the whole feel of the shot and setting. Nostalgic and reminiscent of growing up and visiting the our relatives in Hong Kong.
