Strange, but Cool Art Toys from Sang Won Sung
Brazil-based Korean Sang Won Sung creates these amazingly strange but cool art toys. They have a very distinctive, rounded-rectangular style and although are not completely weird, are a little different enough to give them an edge. Watch out for the doll’s arms insect legs!
I love them for their recognisability, but with the stylisation that sets them apart. A bit like Kubricks, but only better-looking (in my opinion). However, I’m sure they’re a lot more expensive, if they can be bought at all.

Ok, take this with a pinch of salt and think carefully about how seriously you want to take this post. Either way, you need a date with an appreciation of crafts and the luck to make it back to their house (or yours).
Continuing the toilet origami theme, check this video out for how you can make a rose out of a sheet of toilet paper. Now you’ve definitely got a good reason for when you need to go to the bathroom.

Breast Enlargement Cookie
Groan - only in Japan would you find cookies that imply your breasts will grow if you eat them. Well, that makes sense - if you get fat all over, your breasts will probably increase too.

Singapore’s unofficial national dish — the Chilli Crab — is feted this weekend with its very own (FREE) festival. See how many crabs you can scoff — without scorching your tongue or stretching your tum — and sample other Singaporean goodies such as chicken satay, rice-noodle dishes, Hainanese chicken rice and desserts such as the sweet, ice-based kachang and the tapioca-like bur bur cha cha.

There are also traditional dragon and lion dancing, music workshops, martial-art demonstrations, an art exhibition and magic shows.
For more info, check out the Chilli Crab Festival website…

Amazing Photo Study of Tokyo’s Underground Sewer System
Here are some amazing photos of Tokyo’s Sewer System. For a country that’s known for cute products, these are far from it and are reminiscent of anime productions, Blade Runner-esque backdrops and Alien environments.
Amazing.

Castle in the Sky Robot at Ghibli Museum in Japan
I love Studio Ghibli’s anime and although I haven’t seen all their productions, my favourite has to be Spirited Away.
By courtesy of Neatorama, here’s a life-size model of a robot from Hayao Miyazaki’s Laputa - Castle In The Sky, which is located at the Ghibli Museum in Japan.
