“Dynamite Warrior” Trailer : A Wacky New Thai Action Comedy from the Producers of “ONG BAK”
“Dynamite Warrior” is a wacky new Thai action-comedy from the producers of “Ong Bak“, set in an America’s Old West style Siam in 1910. The action is a little different mixing a bit of Thai boxing with fire-cracking aerial stunts…

From Asian Popcorn:
Fresh-faced Dan Chupong plays the mysterious explosives master Jone Bang Fai, a Robin Hood-like figure who steals oxen for the villagers. He kicks his way through sternum-crushing fight scenes with athletic aplomb, scarcely needing the help of the special-effects wizards who supply his armory of souped-up firecrackers. Chupong’s facial expression, on the other hand, is Clint Eastwood immobile, as if challenging us to laugh at his absurd stunt work. His reserve makes the action even funnier. Leo Putt, playing antagonist Lord Waeng, goes deliriously over the top, prancing and giggling with delight at his own villainy.
Waeng’s colorful minions include a dim-witted giant with an unstoppable appetite (he graphically munches on one victim’s forearm) and a machete-wielding dwarf who literally cuts his opponents off at the knees. The disposable plot concerns Waeng’s efforts to replace rice farmers’ traditional ox-drawn plows with his own line of Western tractors, but the film is really a head-spinning exercise in nonstop cartoon violence. The hero’s middle name isn’t Bang for nothing!
