Japanese Smoking Manners : A Gallery of Unintentionally Funny Signs
With the smoking ban kicking in, in the UK a couple of weeks ago, simple “no smoking” signs are now plastered everywhere that has 3 or more enclosing walls.. What a missed opportunity – check out the following example of signs from Japan.
They’re not to indicate “no smoking” but rather, to encourage better manners if people HAVE to smoke. A change of a few words and ideas and surely the UK can have livelier, wittier reasons not to smoke?
