China’s Bubbly (and funky) looking Aquatics Center Nears Completion



“Construction of the Water Cube is scheduled to be finished this October, in time for a few trial events. The full-scale splashdown happens August 2008 with the start of the Olympic Games. Considering Beijing’s summer heat, don’t be surprised if the National Aquatics Centre gets mistaken for a mirage.”
