Buddha Visits China On Rainbow

“A human-shaped shadow in the middle of a rainbow halo appears on Zushan Mountain after a heavy rainfall in Qinhuangdao, North China’s Heibei Province, July 1, 2007.

“The vision, which many tourists believed to be the Buddha, stayed for more than an hour.”

Buddha-Rainbow

I can believe that this shadow could also have been the result of science – there must be all kinds of possibilities of things happening in the mountains and high altitude. What the hell, its still a nice image!

The shadow of the photographer is in the middle. Don’t be foolish. I myself have taken several such pictures near NandaDevi mountains. When you are on a top of a high hill and sun is setting; and if there is cloud on the opposite side rainbows form like this. But its a treat to the eyes – no doubt about it.

And about Buddha, Nature around you is buddha, jesus, mohammad, Shive…everybody. Do believe in nature.

As a Theosophist, I can say that Ancient Masters would have had miraculous powers. This was well exemplified in the recent tsunami, during which statues of Buddha remained intact, in spite of devastation to life and property in the affected areas. While we must have an open eye, should not discount the powers of the blessed ones

  4. Luat says:

I agree both of you said above. Buddha is around you, and inside you. But with The intellegence and power of miracle of Buddhas or Bodhisatvas, can ordinary men see in a colorful rainbow rimbus? Jesus is one God in many Gods, also have power. (to the samara wheel). To this, I think it was a nature.

i think thats not buddha thing..lord buddha passed away about 2550 years ago and he entered to the ultimate nirvana.thats all.nirvana is the end of lyf cycle.or samsara.so he is over.gone.gone.like the light of a lamp suddnly vanished.we can not tell wat happnd to light or where the light hd gone.its unexplainable.so like the nirvana.its a mental state of being not reborn in this universe full of pain.so this image is just some kinda rainbow thing or some other thing.not related to lord buddha.buddha is not a magician.he is a great human being who tought the right path which is middleway.buddha himself tought to arhat monks not to do miracle things just to gain fame or any worldly thing………
