Nano-technical clothing to prevent Flu and protect from smog



Cornell design student Olivia Ong has made some advances in fashion technology creating garments that can help keep your body healthy.

Working in collaboration with Cornell fiber scientists two of her garments were treated with metallic nanoparticles enabling a dress that prevents colds/flu (plus it doesn’t need to be washed), as well as a jacket that destroys noxious gases and protects the person from smog and air pollution.
