New movie trailer : WAR starring Jet Li and Jason Statham

Jet Li is involved in a number of movies at the moment. Here’s the trailer for “WAR“, which also stars Jason Statham.
The story revolves around an FBI Agent (Statham), who is seeking vengeance on a mysterious assassin known as “Rogue” (Li) who murdered his partner. In the poster, we see Li and Statham face to face; the tagline states: “Vengeance is the ultimate weapon“.
The movie seems to pace like Jason’s previous “The Transporter“, which is quick, fast and action-packed. With Jet Li’s artistry, this movie is all set to be stylish fight sequences.
To give you an idea about the feel of the film, it’s directed by Phillip G. Atwell, who has previously done music videos for Eminem and 50 Cent.
“War” is set to open on the 14th September 2007.

I’m a big Jet Li fan, I seen all of his movies from the Shoulin Temple to Fearless, but what i’m trying to figure out is how the hell is he making another movie when he announced that he was retiring? Can anyone out there help me please? Anyways this movie is going to be sick since Jason statham from the transporter 1&2 has improve on his martial arts, him and Jet Li are on it.
Apparently, Jet Li announced he was retiring from making WUSHU films as he felt that the genre was being misinterpreted in movies. He wanted to emphasise that in Wushu, violence isn’t the answer. He summed up his philosophy in his “final” Wushu film in the shape of Fearless.
However, he will still continue to make “traditional” action films, hence “War” and a few more that are coming along.
