Gorgeous acrylic rings encasing genuine Japanese Kimono fabric

Kimono Rings

Ok, I don’t normally wear rings, but you have to admit these are rather nice to look at. Even better is the idea behind their existence – every (acrylic) ring encases a genuine piece of Kimono fabric and is made in Japan.

Kimono fabric is perhaps the jewel of Japan’s art tradition, which dates back centuries. The fabric is distinguished by its intricate hand-dyed patterns — a painstaking process, as it takes great skill to prevent the colours from running together in such detailed work.

You can buy these for $16 each at TheCarrotbox.com
