Ninja search - courtesy of Google
If you like your searches deadly accurate, you might like to use the Ninja search page.
Powered by Google, it doesn’t make that much difference to their usual search results, but the dark theme may give your consciousness stealth like concentration so you can appear to be doing more work than usual.

Ninja Restaurant in New York
Here’s a Ninja-themed restaurant in New York, if you want to act out your darkest black-cloth-clad fantasies.
Ninja New York is designed to depict a ninja castle from the feudal days, with individual rooms laid out with the complexity of a maze. Apparently, the ordinary and the extraordinary mingles where one is able to experience the mysterious world in which the ninja lived.

How to recognise Japanese fonts
Ping Mag has a great post on how to recognise Japanese fonts, which I’ve only just come across. It’s a nice little description of a few examples of different Japanese fonts, their characteristics and their typical use. A few good photographs of rustic packaging and Japanese type too.

One of their more recent posts has lots of examples of Sake bottle packaging design.

Doggie Treadmill For Small Dogs
A doggie treadmill? It sounds so obvious, I’m surprised it wasn’t made any sooner. But what happens when the dog gets tired? Judging by the leash, it’s just going to fall flat on its face while the mat continues to wear out its underbelly fur.
This would have been useful when I had a Siberian Husky. They can run so far, it would probably have worn out the mat first.

David Choe : Mixed media, sculpture and painting
The latest issue of Arts and Culture magazine, Juxtapoz, has a feature on talented multi-medium artist David Choe who is from Los Angeles. He has just had a short solo exhibition called Gardeners of Eden in New York, but he does sell a range of his work on his website.
David Choe has an inspirational versatile talent, experimenting with mixed media, sculpture and painting. His work portrays his adventures and experiences, inspired by being alive and loving life. When an artist demonstrates this kind of fluency through different media, you can appreciate that a personal style has developed, whether its through scratchy pen and ink drawings, smoothly rendered paintings, child-like outlined characters, or visceral compositions from his imagination.
