Shiny Mao Badges and other Cultural Revolution Goodies

I just stumbled across a site by Kurt Groetsch, who is actually responsible for the Cultural Revolution imagery Flickr page I posted before (see it by clicking here). Its called Mao Ephemera and has more stuff that he’s collected. My personal favourites are the badges – forget your pinpops – these are the real deal – highly collectable, gorgeous works of art. I’ll be trying to pick some up when I next go to East Asia. Click through Kurt’s Badge exhibition while you’re there and find out a bit more information on each badge.
